Bailey Vandiver Childers

Bailey Vandiver and Tyson Childers were married December 4, 2021 at 4:00 in the afternoon in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Bradford Farm with Michael Jackson officiating. The reception followed at Bradford Farm.

The bride is the daughter of Wendy and Phillip Lane and the late Randy Vandiver. She is the granddaughter of Carolyn Vandiver, the late Junior Vandiver, the late Bob Vandiver, and the late Marylou Vandiver.

The groom is the son of Keitha and Jesse Campbell and Andy and Ashley Childers. He is the grandson of Doug Childers, Abby Keith, Gary Keith, Paulette Ross, and Dwight Ross.

The bride wore a Essence IV lace over moscato gown from The Something Blue Shoppe and Kate Whitcomb shoes.

Maid of honor Scarlett Johnson, best friend of the bride, and matron of honor was Bre Potter, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashton Childers and Ann Leslie Bush, sisters-in-law of the bride; Annabeth Mask, Skyler Nichols, Katelynne Owens, friends of the bride; and Rylee Childers, niece of the groom. Flower girl was Blakely Potter, niece of the bride.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Drew Childers. Groomsmen were Andy Childers, father of the groom; Tate Sockwell, Jordan King, Keith Nichols, Jon Owens, all friends of the groom; and Hunter Vandiver, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Owen Childers, nephew of the groom.

Wedding director was Cecilia Brumley. Floral designer was Heather Bradford Sherrill. Southern Skillet catered the reception, Shawnda Ford made the wedding cake, and Coretta Little Smith made the groom’s cake. Reception entertainment was provided by Shoals Event Specialist. Hair stylist was Kim Tyra and make up artist was Faith Ezell. Photographer was Heather Sherrill of Create Portraiture and videographer was B&B Media.

For their honeymoon, the couple took a weekend trip to Helen, Ga., and will be taking a week-long trip to Jamaica in May. They are now residing in Leighton.
