Hannah Staggs McBrayer

Hannah Gayle Staggs and Zakery Todd McBrayer exchanged wedding vows October 9, 2021 at 5:30 in the afternoon at The Owl’s Landing in Killen with Isaac Brown officiating. The reception was also held at The Owl’s Landing, following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Shane and Amanda Staggs of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Howard

Pigg and the late Gayle Pigg and Junior and Charlotte Staggs, all of Florence.

The groom is the son of Todd McBrayer and Monica and Jody Lisby, all of Florence. He is the grandson of

Donnie and Mary McBrayer of Florence, and the late Roger and Shirley Jackson.

The bride chose a beaded scroll and lace mermaid style gown with a beaded floral scroll cathedral veil.

She also wore a crystal necklace and matching earrings, her mother’s diamond tennis bracelet, her late grandmother’s wedding ring, white Dr. Marten’s combat boots, and a special bracelet from the groom.

Maid of honor was Shelby Bevis, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Linley Beecham, friend of the bride; Madison Staggs and Caraline Pigg, cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Savanna Pigg and Natalie Pigg, cousins of the bride, and flower dude was Garrett Rotton, friend of the groom.

Best man was the groom’s brother, Hunter McBrayer. Groomsmen were Brandon Jones, Aaron Eckl, Brad Gean, and Hunter Kelsey, all friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Austin Pigg and Mason Pigg, cousins of the bride.

Wedding director and floral designer was Dawn Pettus. Ceremony music and reception entertainment was provided by Shoals Event Specialist. The reception was catered by Whole Hog Express, the wedding cake was made by Mollie Parker, and the groom’s cake was made by Lauren Thomas. Hair stylist was Tiffany Powell of Parlor 217 and make up artists were Audrey Montgomery and Savana Vinson. Photographer was Love and Bloom Studios and videographer was Nelson Studios.

For their honeymoon, the couple took a trip out West, visiting Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho, including visiting and sightseeing at Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. They are now residing in Florence.
