Stephanie Willis and Cordell (Corey) Lanier were married Saturday, November 17, 2018 at First Baptist Killen with Jim Lanier, uncle of the groom, officiating. The reception was held at The Mane Room in Florence following the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Christina and Terry Richardson of Florence and the late William “Bill” Willis. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy Willis and the late Robert Willis, and Connie Fleury and the late Ralph Tanner.

The groom is the son of Tim and Rebecca Lanier of Florence. He is the grandson of Charlene Lanier and the late Wayne Lanier.

The bride wore a beautiful long sleeved, v-neck gown that she designed herself and was created by Anomalie. Her bouquet was wrapped in a piece of fabric from her late father’s shirt (something old). Her something borrowed was a necklace that contained her late grandfather’s wedding band. The groom’s wedding band was his late grandfather’s. An altar arrangement was made in memory of the bride’s late father and late grandfathers. Another altar arrangement was made in memory of the groom’s late grandfather.

Maid of honor was Haley Crosby, best friend of the bride, and matron of honor was Alesha Jefferies, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sarah Lanier and Elizabeth Lanier, sisters of the groom. Flower girl was Cassidee Jefferies, niece of the bride. Best man was the groom’s father, Tim Lanier. Groomsmen were Josh Smith, best friend of the groom; Ross Putman, future brother-in-law of the groom; and Josiah Lanier, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Logan Jefferies, nephew of the bride.

The bride served as her own wedding director/coordinator (Events by Steph). Floral designer was Megan Moral. Caterer was Jill Larkin of Jill’s Sweet Memories, who also made the wedding cake. The groom’s cake was made by Stanfield’s in Ford City. Jeff Walton played the organ and piano for the ceremony and Justin Jefferies entertained guests at the reception. Hair stylist was Chloe Sparks and make-up artist was Haley Crosby. Photographers were Kayla Augustine and Evie Sutton. Videographer was Sierra Hill.

The couple spent their honeymoon at the Victoria House Resort in San Pedro, Belize. They are now residing in Florence.
