Sonja King Bailey

How it all started....

High School Sweethearts - It was a cold rainy night so I decided to make a Walmart run. As I was browsing through the aisles I noticed this cute girl smiling at me so I strolled over to the electronic dept and begin to talk to her. We talked a while and I left. Now the electronic department at Walmart was my new hang out spot, lol. We became friends and one day exchanged numbers. We talked for a while and begin dating and then she joined the army and we lost contact for years. One day as I was traveling through Rogersville I saw her mother’s car at Foodland, so I stopped to see if it was her car and Sonja walked out and it was like she saw a ghost. We talked awhile, exchanged numbers again, and shortly after we began dating again. On February 16, 2020 I planned a romantic dinner at Grill 29 and proposed, she said yes of course! Here we are finally becoming one Mr. and Mrs. Bailey.
