Morgan Killen and Kaleb Suggs were married September 21, 2019 at 6:30 in the evening at Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail with Gavin McGee officiating. The reception followed at the RTJ Clubhouse.

The bride is the daughter of Brad Killen and Keri Killen of Killen. She is the granddaughter of Derrick and Rebecca Killen and the late Chester and June Davis, all of Florence.

The groom is the son of Jeff Suggs and the late Rita Suggs of Tuscumbia. He is the grandson of Geneva Simpson and the late Herbert Simpson of Killen, and Jerry and Marie Suggs of Tuscumbia.

The bride was escorted by her father wearing a beautiful white 2019 Modeca bridal gown from Town and Country Bridal in Madison.

Maid of honor was Lindsey Killen, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Anne Walton Herston, Erin Clemmons, Brodie Thigpen, Lindzy Richardson, Maggie Killen, Alexandra Parameswaran, Alexa Johnson, and Sarah Harper. Flower girls were Lizzie Hines and Etta Margaret Killen.

Best man was the groom’s father, Jeff Suggs. Groomsmen were Scott Suggs, Tanner Gatlin, Austin McCaig, Cody Counce, Raleigh Killen, Jacob Walker, Tyler Grigsby, and Chris Elliott. Ring bearer was Langston Herring, nephew of the groom, and bible bearer was Carson Suggs, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Carter Suggs and Cheston Davis.

Wedding director and floral designer was Dawn Pettus. Caterer was the catering staff at RTJ. The wedding cake and groom’s cake was made by Dawn Pettus. Reception entertainment was provided by Wendell and Kendell Dean. Hair stylist and make-up artist was Mandi Beavers. Photographer was Michael Vandiver of MDV Studios, and videographer was Awaken Films.

The couple departed the reception in the same vehicle the bride’s parents departed in after their wedding - the bride’s late grandfather’s 1948 Chevy convertible.

After enjoying a week-long honeymoon at the beach, the couple is now residing in Florence.
